Peppino Marabita, an eclectic artist and comic actor, divides his activities between street performance and the theater stage.
Ironically surreal, dramatically comic, Peppino finds in the language of physical theater and circus a vehicle for contemporary popular expression capable of creating a short circuit that,
in its highest form, keeps alive the idea that anything is possible.
A showman and cabaret presenter, a cultural activator, creator and organizer of theatrical formats, cultural events, and festivals.
He began his artistic journey in 2008 with the show PRIMO, performing in various events across Southern Italy.
Since 2015, he has been performing MALLEABILE, which has over 500 performances, participating in festivals and events in Thailand, South Korea, Germany, Italy, Spain, Latvia,
Turkey, Austria, Montenegro, and more.
In 2020, he founded the company Ditta Polletti with circus actress Cristina Geninazzi, and they are currently working on the show CAPUT.

As a promoter of street art and live performance culture in Sicily, he has contributed to the realization of Ibla Buskers(since 2009 – Ragusa), Sincero Festival (since 2013 - Palazzolo Acreide), and has collaborated on the organization of Valdemone Festival, Meraviglia, Agrancante Art Fest, Ratapun, and many other events.
He was also the organizer of the Sicilian Juggling Convention (2004 – 2010).
Training:
He trained at the Atelier Teatro Fisico in Turin, directed by Philip Radice, with Lecoq pedagogy.
He has attended various seminars in theater, dance, improvisational theater, comic writing, and numerous workshops with masters such as: Micheline Vandepoel (clown), Gonzalo Alarcòn (dramaturgy),
Andre Casaca (clown), Pascal Angelier (verticalism), Jef Johnson (clown), Emiliano Sanchez Alessi (juggling), Leris Colombaioni (clown), Giorgio Donati (comic actor), Aldo Viral (zen and
juggling), and many others.
